T4T care cards is a project I began at the start of the pandemic. During fluctuating periods of isolation over the past 2 years, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on the ritualistic practice of preparing to move through the world as a trans person. I wanted to connect with other trans folks about what processes and rituals they may do or seek from loved ones to feel cared for. Through those conversations with community, I created this deck of cards. These cards are a culmination of those conversations, and include imagery and text that reflect shared experiences we connected on. These packages were gifted out to trans folks across Canada. By the end of the project, 30 packages were delivered.
